Property management representative disputes some claims

Unsafe and potential health concerns in his apartment in Sharon led William Schultz Jr. to contact those he thought would address the issues, but they weren’t taken care of.
After striking out with the local manager, Schultz said he contacted the regional property manager – and sent photos and videos to the corporate office, a claim the regional manager denies. This can cause a lot of controversies when issues like this arise with a tenant and property management company/landlord who are saying different things. When problems like this come to light there are ways that this can be handled delicately but it may mean that a different company for managing rental homes may be needed in the end, however, this is still unraveling at this time and everyone involved will need to wait and see what the outcome is.
For those who need further clarification on this subject and have questions about property managers and issues similar to these, such as “What does a management company do?“, “Can I fight this in court?”, for example, then they will need to research their local area laws if they want to take their case further to see which person/company is responsible for these problems.
The issues in Schultz’s now-former apartment – he moved out just over a week ago – include mold on the living room window, which also bows out when pushed on, as well as mold or mildew and cracks in the bathroom. The stovetop also is loose and unsafe to use, he said.
“The former manager patched things up around the window, but it didn’t last,” Schultz said. “The maintenance guy looked at it and said he’d fix it but never did anything. I called the new manager multiple times and she didn’t do anything.”
