Scrawl, Y’all, a new writing club for teenagers, will begin March 1 at Aram Public Library in Delavan and Barrett Memorial Library in Williams Bay.
“We’ll meet twice a month to write, snack, and anyone who wants to can share what they’re working on,” said Aram youth services librarian Katherine Schoofs.
The first Wednesday of the month, participants will meet at their home libraries. The third Wednesday of the month will be a group Scrawl session and the location will alternate between the two libraries. Each session will start with some writing prompts to get creative juices flowing.
Participants should bring notebooks and pens or pencils and any stories or ideas they’d like to share.
March meetings are at 5 p.m. March 1 (at home library) and 5 p.m. March 15 at Barrett Memorial Library, 65 W. Geneva St, Williams Bay.
