The Butchers Model Car Club will have its first meetings of the year from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in the old fair office on the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn.
The car club will have meetings every third Saturday of the month in 2017. Other meetings scheduled in 2017 will be: Feb. 18, March 18, April 8, May 13, June 17, July 15, Aug. 19, Sept. 16, Oct. 21, Nov. 18 and Dec. 16.
The car club welcomes modelers of all skill levels and interests. The club also hosts the 4-H scale model and all 4-H youth involved in the project are encouraged to attend monthly meetings.
The club’s public service project will again be the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Donations will be collected at monthly meetings. The club would like to thank all of you who have helped the club with donations to this worthy organization.
