The Big Foot Acting Company is putting the final touches on its production of “Murder in the Knife Room,” to be performed this Saturday evening at Big Foot High School.
The parody of a murder mystery focuses around a mysterious host who gathers a group of people in his knife room, only to be murdered by one of them.
With a room full of suspects including a respected general, a wealthy dowager and even Santa Clause, it’s up to the Inexplicably Omniscient Inspector to determine just “whodunit.” The murder mystery unfolds as the inspector takes on the thrilling and baffling murder case.
“Murder in the Knife Room” was written by playwright Jonathan Rand, whose plays have been performed more than 17,000 times in all 50 states and more than 50 countries.
This fall, the acting company is offering an opportunity for attendees to enjoy a complete night out, offering dinner prior to the show. Gino’s East of Lake Geneva will cater an Italian-themed dinner including chopped salad, breadsticks, cavatappi alfredo with chicken, angel hair pasta with roasted vegetables and assorted desserts.
Dinner begins at 6 p.m. with the play to follow at 7:30 p.m. For dinner and the show, the cost is $13 for adults, $8 for children aged 6 to 12, and free for children younger than 5. A family package is available for $35 for two adults and two children.
For just the show, tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children aged 6 to 12 and free for children younger than 5.
