Pamela Knorr, longtime district administrator for the Walworth Joint School District 1, died Tuesday.
Knorr had served as the school district’s administrator for 20 years, resigning this past spring due to medical reasons.

Earlier this fall, faculty at Walworth Elementary School took on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, collecting and raising money to donate to the ALS Foundation in Knorr’s name. Students and faculty honored Knorr with a nearly $2,000 donation to the foundation.
Visitation is being held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. tonight, Nov. 7, at Toynton Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha St., in Walworth.
A funeral service will be held Saturday. Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1101 Logan St., in Lake Geneva.
I’m so very saddened to hear this news about Pam’s demise. She will surely be missed. I have only great memories of her. Always had a smile and a kind word every time I ran into her.
