Agape House open house set for Oct. 23

Agape House is hosting its annual information night on Oct. 23 with a signature event entitled, “An Evening to Give Them Hope” at Geneva National Club, 1221 Geneva National Ave. South, in Lake Geneva. The event begins with registration at 5 p.m.

The public information night will offer attendees the opportunity to learn more about the services Agape House provides through its multifaceted programs created to meet the needs of girls and families struggling with the effects of abuse and addiction.

Agape House is the only private residential home and school for girls in the state of Wisconsin, according to a press release from the home. The release said the non-profit organization, founded in 1997, offers counseling services, a mentoring program, individualized educational courses and a safe environment to girls ages 12 to 28. Additionally, the release said girls work to overcome the effects of “abuse, addiction, and past hurts” through the guidance and support of professional staff and volunteers.

The evening’s events will include a silent auction, guest speakers, a gourmet dinner and stories about the lives changed at Agape House through the programs offered.

Tickets are $35 per person, or $300 for a table of ten people. Reservations are required.
