Members of the Keefe Real Estate agency recently gathered at the Grand Geneva Resort to recognize sales agent achievements in 2019.
The event brought together nearly 80 sales agents and associates covering Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. These sale agents have done everything they can to get people into their new homes and help them every step of the way, that is why utilizing various real estate support to help with transactions, paperwork, staging, etc. is important for their businesses. Getting into the real estate business as a new group can be daunting, but these companies have shown that it can be done, and as long as they have the right information like how much a transaction coordinator fee is, how should home photography be done, what to do with certain paperwork, for instance, they can make a name for themselves.
Tom Keefe, president, and CEO of Keefe Real Estate, spoke at the Feb. 18 event.
“Closing out the 2010’s with one of our best years on record was a special occasion for our company to celebrate together,” he said. “After having survived The Great Recession in the early 2010’s, and then various disruption in our industry in the middle part of the decade, I am very proud of our entire team for not only their sales accomplishments, but also for everything they do in our community.”
Highlights of the evening included awards and recognition of the following:
- Companywide Top Volume of the Year: Linda Tonge $36.5 million;

- Delavan Top Volume and Transactions: Ryan Simons;

“We lost one of our most beloved agents in 2019, Mike Pfammatter, and we were touched that his wife, Mary Jo, joined us to accept the Keefe Kares Spirit Award on his behalf,” Keefe said.
“Mike embodied our values of trust, community, going above and beyond and focusing on relationships, and while we miss Mike terribly, we are proud to have had the opportunity to work with him and continue to be inspired by the example he set in our business.”
Other highlights celebrated at the event included a successful first year in business in Woodstock, Ill.
Keefe opened its first Illinois branch in late 2018-early 2019 that serves Woodstock, the greater McHenry County markets, as well as people moving across the Wisconsin/Illinois border.
“We knew our name was well known in the Chicagoland area, and we have been delighted with the reception we have received from Illinoisans. We feel we were able to enhance our level of service to our existing customers and clients, as well as new customers we are meeting, and we look forward to growing our business in the coming years,” Keefe said.
