Beat cabin fever at the Lake Geneva Kids Expo on Jan. 4, 2020, at Badger High School. The inaugural one-day event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and offers interactive exhibits and play opportunities for kids of all ages as well as samples, shopping and resources for parents.
Play Zones will be set up throughout the site, including bounce houses, meet and greet with first responders, face painting and more. Stop by the Main Stage for fairytale princess sing-a-longs and performances from local organizations, such as Broadway Academy of Art and Dance Company, Toe-To-Toe Ballet School, The Dance Factory, Walworth County Cloggers and Bayside Athletics.
Meet local child-related vendors and businesses ranging from toys and games to sports and fitness classes, learning devices, safety products, day cares, schools, camps and more.
“We are really excited to bring a kids expo to our hometown,” Events Director Ashley Duchemin said. “We hope this event will help spread the word about all of the great kid-friendly businesses and attractions right here in Walworth County, and that everyone will come out and enjoy a day of fun with us.”
Tickets for adults are $7 in advance or $9 at the door; tickets for kids are $5 in advance or $6 at the door; kids 2 and younger are admitted free of charge with adult. Tickets are on sale at lakegenevakidsexpo.com/tickets.
