On a mission

      Trinity Church in Pell Lake recently sent Calvin Topf (front from left), Lyzzie Oviedo, Gretchen Tofp, Lizzie Melchi, Cameryn Heckel, (back row) Kloe Oviedo, Dale Williams, Evan Martin, Vicki Martin, Michele Irby and Michelle McClanahan on the Youthworks Mission Trip to Lake Traverse, South Dakota. The group learned about the Dakota Indiana Reservation and helped paint houses in the community. They also helped run a Kids Club for local children in the community and helped renovate an old school that is now being used for a community center. Among other things they visited with folks at a nursing home and assisted living community. They made new friends with folks from other churches in other states, laughed, served, prayed and developed lasting relationships with each other.
