A meth lab was discovered and two people arrested on Highway H in Genoa City on Sunday.
While conducting an investigation Sunday, the Walworth County Drug Enforcement Unit and Genoa City Police Department discovered a methamphetamine manufacturing operation in apartments 202 and 204 at 1201 Highway H.
Patrick J. Weingandt, 19, and Jesse J. Kruzinski, 35 were arrested. Weingandt faces felony charges of possession of heroin and possession of methamphetamine waste. Kruzinski faces felony charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine waste. He has a prior conviction for possession of methamphetamine.
The Drug Enforcement Agency’s Clandestine Lab Team removed materials from the apartments. The Bloomfield and Genoa City Fire and Rescue Department also assisted with the investigation.
