The Elkhorn Area Women’s Club is finally back to business and recently announced it will hold a fundraising event April 1 through April 24. It will feature an online option as well as in-person events at two downtown businesses.
One part of the fundraiser will be on online auction featuring 20 different items. To view the online auction items and place bids, visit 32.auctions.com/EAWC_Scholarships.
Another portion of the fundraiser will feature in-person bid bundles located at Perk Up, 27 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, which is open 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Place silent auction bids in person at Perk Up; committee members will notify winners on April 24 and will provide pickup details at that time. Pickup days will be April 30 and May 1.
A cash and carry wine pull will take place at Firefly Art Glass, 13 S. Wisconsin St. in Elkhorn. It’s $10 a bottle – cash only – and participants must be 21 years of age. Firefly is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday.

All proceeds will go toward scholarships for Elkhorn Area High School students. Felland said the Elkhorn Area Women’s Club also hopes to hold an in-person Bunco fundraiser in the fall.
