National group bestows honor for seventh straight year
For the seventh straight year, Victory Media, the premier publisher of magazines for military personnel transitioning into civilian life, has awarded Gateway Technical College the designation of Military Friendly School.
The 2018 Military Friendly Schools ratings recognize colleges with leading programs for veterans, members of the Armed Forces leaving military service and military spouses.
“It is an honor to serve our military heroes with education and training through Gateway Technical College,” Gateway Technical College President and CEO Bryan Albrecht said in a news release. “The Gateway community takes pride in serving our military veterans.
“Being recognized as a Military Friendly School is an honor that exemplifies the respect we have for our American heroes,” Albrecht added.
The list is created each year based on research using public data sources for more than 8,800 schools nationwide, input from student veterans and responses to the proprietary, data-driven Military Friendly Schools survey from participating institutions.
