Bowling over the competition

      Elkhorn Area High School students swept the competition in all four math categories and finished second overall as a team in the Southern Lakes Conference Academic Bowl, which features a series of written and oral tests in math, English, science, social studies, and potpourri, an oral-only competition. The students are selected by school officials and EAHS participants included: Gwendolyn Richardson, Isaac Myers, Ashley Petersen, Jet Weber, Connor Handel, Sean Ahler, Leah Meersman, Jack Flitcroft, Joe Polk, Logan Radlein, Corrina Lueptow, Paris Barker, Sarah Rychlak, Carleigh Hanson, Colton Loomis, David Broga, Gabrielle Richardson, Nick Flock, Phillip Meersman and Allison Schopf​. Conference champions from Elkhorn were: Richardson, Geography; Petersen, Civics; Polk, Physical Science; Broga, Algebra; Schopf, Geometry; Flock, Algebra II; Philip Meersman, Advanced Math.
