Community Action Inc. will distribute food in Rock and Walworth counties through the Emergency Food Assistance Program.
The federal program provides food assistance to low-income households through the distribution of food commodities from the United States Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Services. It is a supplemental food assistance program designed to work in combination with other assistance programs in efforts to maximize and target limited food and funding resources.
Community Action Inc. is one of 16 emergency feeding organizations that distribute commodities to food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters. The program is supported by funding from the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services.

- Harold Johnson Food Pantry, St. Andrew Catholic Church, 714 Walworth Ave., Delavan; open 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturdays and on emergency call;
- Big Foot Emergency Food Pantry, 111 Fremont St., Walworth; open 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday and on emergency call;
