A Williams Bay woman was sentenced to three years probation with nine months in jail for battery to a Delavan police officer last summer.
Tiffany K. Cruz, 28, was set to go on trial Monday in four separate felony cases. The first involved two counts of battery to a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct that stemmed from a June 5 incident in Delavan. Cruz was subsequently charged in three separate cases of felony bail jumping for violating bond conditions in the first case.
Cruz entered a plea agreement Jan. 4 under which she pleaded guilty to one count of battery to a law enforcement officer for the June 5 battery of Delavan police officer Ashley Lepak and one count of felony bail jumping. The remaining charges were dismissed.
She was sentenced to three years probation to include nine months in the Walworth County Jail with work-release privileges, a $200 fine plus court courts, alcohol and other drug assessment and treatment and no violent contact with the victims in her case.
