Arraignment hearing scheduled for March 17
An Elkhorn man allegedly found with pornography of girls as young as 3 years old engaged in sex acts appeared in Walworth County Circuit Court Wednesday and was bound over for trial after waiving his preliminary hearing.
Neal R. Moss, 59, was charged Feb. 17 in Walworth County Circuit Court with two counts of possession of child pornography.
According to the criminal complaint, an undercover internet investigation of people using a peer-to-peer file sharing network to traffic and exchange child pornography led investigators to the IP address of Moss on Kniep Road in the Town of Lafayette.
Police seized computers and digital devices from Moss’ home and found multiple files that contained videos and images of girls younger than 18 years old in partial dress or underwear, and various images of girls as young as 3 engaged in sex acts.
A $2,500 cash bond was set for Moss on Feb. 4.
Moss is next set to appear in Walworth County Circuit Court at 1:15 p.m. on March 17 in Walworth County Circuit Court in front of Judge David Reddy.
