An Out of the Darkness Walworth County Community Walk in support of suicide prevention is set for Oct. 3 at the Walworth County Fairgrounds, 411 E. Court St., Elkhorn.
The Out of the Darkness Walk is a fundraiser for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and registration and check-in begins at 8 a.m. on Oct. 3, with the walk kicking off at 9 a.m.
The walk raises awareness and funds that allow the foundation to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy and support survivors of suicide loss.
