Gov. Scott Walker plans to sign the state budget on Sunday in Pleasant Prairie.
Walker announced on Wednesday that he would sign the budget at Catalyst Exhibits, a company that provides custom and rental exhibition designs.
Walker is also expected to announce budget vetoes that day, but spokesman Tom Evenson says some may be released before then.
The $70 billion budget would cut income taxes by $650 million over two years, expand private school vouchers statewide and reject a federally funded expansion of Medicaid.
Interest groups, the University of Wisconsin, Democratic lawmakers and even at least one Republican have asked Walker to veto numerous parts of the budget, including creating a bail bondsmen program and kicking an investigative journalism center off the UW campus.
