The East Troy Community School District Board of Education spring election will need a primary in February to narrow the field down to four candidates to fill the two open board seats.

The five candidates on the primary ballot are School Board President Ted Zess, former School Board member Jessica Fuchs, Kevin Bong, Adam Witkiewicz and Adam LeMarr.

Fuchs lost her seat on the School Board in the April 2021 election. School Board member Bob Dignan filed papers of non-candidacy.

The primary election will take place Feb. 15.

Village of East Troy

The Village of East Troy has three trustee seats on the April 5 ballot. The four candidates running are trustees Matt Johnson, Jason Smalley and Forty Renucci along with former Village Board member Dusty Stanford.

Town of East Troy

The Town of East Troy supervisor race has four candidates for the two open seats that were created in 2021 when the Town Board increased to five members.

Incumbents Chad Wales and Peter Kesselhon are being challenged by Bill Wucherer and John Stoss.

Wales and Kesselhon served one-year terms as new board members because the board elections must be staggered with the increased size. The winners of this year’s election will serve two-year terms.
