May your sacrifice never be forgotten
As part of the annual Memorial Day observances in East Troy, American Legion Loomis-Martin Post 188 reads off the names of the military men and women who lost their lives in service to the country during the past year.
Because of the COVID-19 social distancing recommendations, the usual Memorial Day service has been canceled. The Legion and the newspaper are honoring all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the country.
Local service members who died this past year while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces include:
