Fundraiser planned

The Resource Center will have its annual silent auction fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Lake Beulah Yacht Club, N9220 East Shore Road.

The doors open at 5 p.m. and the appetizer reception begins at 5:30 p.m.

This is the center’s largest fundraiser of the year and helps to raise a significant portion of the $20,000 plus needed annually to continue providing free programming to the East Troy Community and the greater Walworth County area.

The night will feature 80 to 100 silent auction items and raffle.

Toothpicks Catering of East Troy will provide the appetizers. The event will also have a dessert, live entertainment by local singer/songwriter Gary Gerard, and a cash bar.

The grand prize is a rolling cooler/entertainment cart with assorted beverages. Raffle tickets are available for $5 each or three for $10. Players do not need to be present to win. To purchase advance tickets, contact Komperud.

Auction tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Tax-deductible donations may also be sent directly to the Resource Center.
