The East Troy Area Chamber of Commerce’s First Fridays event series continues with Square Fest from 5 to 8 p.m. tonigh at East Troy Village Square Park, 2881 Main St.
The event will feature live music by the Poor Boys and more, food trucks, kids crafts, East Troy’s First Fridays Beer Tent sponsored by James R. Taylor and Sons and the East Troy Farmers Market.
“Music is at the center of Square Fest,” said Vanessa Lenz, executive director of the East Troy Area Chamber of Commerce. “This event will begin a fun-filled round up of the end of summer, providing a variety of music, local flavors and family fun.”
All activities and crafts will have a music theme, including musical games and the First Fridays music wall.
“Kids love music, but they love musical instruments even more. We wanted to add as much hands-on fun as we could.”
Performing Friday night are:
- Sophia Webber, 4 to 6 p.m., at 2894 On Main;
- Joey Halbur, 4 to 5 p.m., at Al Smith’s Saloon;
- The Poor Boys, 5 to 8 p.m., at East Troy Village Square Park; and
- Geoff Howard and Andy Carroll, 6 to 8 p.m., at Sammy’s Place.
Food trucks scheduled to be at the event include: Hometown Sausage Kitchen/Yuppie Hill Poultry, Meat on the Street, Jakarta Café, GypsySoul Food Truck, Pots n Tots, Lefty’s Chicago Style Hot Dogs and Jakarta Cafe2. Parking on the grass will be: Pedro’s Authentic Mexican Cuisine and Tudo Sabor Brasil.
The East Troy Farmers Market runs from 2 to 6 p.m. and will feature Sky Mountain Kettle Corn, Cinnabakes, FreezeTime, The Pink Sunflower, Hill Valley Dairy LLC, Lovelight Flowers, LotFotl, V&K Honey, Nina’s Dairy Goats, Healey’s Wholesome Haven, Muddy Boots Plants and Produce, Marshall’s Mark Designs, Kojis Produce, Pleasurable Pause Press and Thrifty Irish Hippies.
