Brenna L. Roesler, 20, of Elkhorn, was charged in Walworth County Court Oct. 2 with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the criminal complaint, Roesler was pulled over Sept. 25 at Interstate 43 and Highway 20 in East Troy after a witness saw her “swerving all over the roadway.” Roesler told the police officer her erratic driving was because she was using her phone.
The officer noted Roesler appeared to be under the influence of heroin, according to the complaint, which states Roesler’s pupils were “extremely constricted, almost pinpoint sized, and she appeared to be ‘nodding off’ while speaking” to him.
The officer also stated he observed “track marks” on her and that he recognized her from a July rescue call where she had overdosed on heroin, according to the complaint.
Heroin paraphernalia was found in her purse and heroin was found in her bra at the Walworth County Jail, according to the complaint.
