Prairie View Elementary School fifth-graders Kylie Schmidt (from left), Madison Kegley, Cadence Kroll and Gabby Smith collaborate on the construction of their board game as part of their project-based learning assignment about world explorers. The games helped them develop skills with the 5Cs – Creativity, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, and Content. During the winter break, Dec. 23 to Jan. 9, the coffee shop/cafe 2894 on Main on the East Troy village square will have the games available for anyone to play.
