See the new emergency department in Mukwonago
If the red emergency signs at ProHealth Care’s new emergency department in Mukwonago aren’t enough to catch the attention of passersby during the open house on Saturday, perhaps the MEGA Heart in the parking lot will.
The public is invited to stop by ProHealth’s D.N. Greenwald Center, 240 Maple Ave., between 9:30 and noon on Saturday to see the new emergency department and experience the MEGA Heart, the world’s only portable, inflatable, walk-through heart exhibit. It’s 12 feet high and 21 feet long, and offers visitors an opportunity to step inside the human heart, learn about cardiovascular function and observe examples of various types of heart disease.
After experiencing the exhibit, participants can tour the new emergency department, meet the local emergency care team, participate in screenings and interactive displays and learn more about the services offered at the D. N. Greenwald Center. Refreshments and free gifts will also be available while supplies last.
The new emergency department will begin accepting patients at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 6. It will provide hospital-level emergency care 24/7, and medical and clinical leadership will be provided by Frank Szatkowski, MD and Kim Foss, RN, respectively.
