James R. Taylor and Sons Inc., 2115 Division St. in East Troy, is collecting donations for the Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee again this year.
Drop offs can be made during office hours Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., during the month of November. Monetary donations can be made with checks payable to the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.
Items on the wish list include: gift certificates for Family Dollar store; I-tune gift cards; Double Roll Tickets; Marcus Theater movie passes; new Christmas decorations – tree, lights, wreaths, ornaments, etc.; funds for books, magazines, etc.; books on CD; music CDs; coffee, creamer, sugar and stir sticks; foot stools; theme blankets (Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard); art paper and paints; senior exercise CDs; Wii memory and fine motor skill games – 9A; Benevolent Touch Supplies (hand crème, Emory boards, hand soap, orange sticks, spa CDs, etc.; electric razors; after shave lotion; model car kits; ceramic molds; gift certificates to Michael Crafts; music/karaoke CDs; phone cards; gift certificates for Pick ‘n Save; restaurant gift certificates – Subway, ‘, Applebee’s, etc.; coffee for the residents; clear stackable storage boxes and drawers for craft supplies; gardening supplies – pots, potting soil, seeds, etc.; gift certificates to Walgreens; socks; plastic hangers; body wash; razors; female hygiene products; denture paste/cleaner; deodorant; aroma therapy machine and essential oils; Music CDs from the 50s and 60s; crossword/sudoku puzzles; ear plugs and Chap Stick.
