The East Troy Area Historical Society’s latest exhibit at the Kubicki Museum and Heritage Center puts the focus on Girl Scouting.
The display, which will be open through Memorial Day,
The exhibit opened on Feb. 12, one month before the 101st anniversary of founder Juliette Gordon Low’s first Girl Scouts meeting in Savannah, Ga.
“We’re still happy to accept additions to the exhibit if people have unique items of local significance to add, such as photos, mementos, and official equipment,” said historical society member Emily Stahl.
Exhibit items will be accepted on a loan basis, or can be offered for donation to add to the historical society’s permanent collection.
The Kubicki Museum and Heritage Center is located at 2106 Church St., on the East Troy Village Square. The museum is open Wednesdays from 9 a.m.-noon and Saturdays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. or by special appointment. Admission is free.
