Peach Tree Organic Gardens, 2609 Highway O South, Delavan, is hosting a Haunted Farm Trail, tonight, Oct. 30 from dusk until 9 p.m., which is when the last tour will be allowed.
The trail will feature students from Williams Bay High School, Badger High School, Turtle Creek Elementary and Darien Elementary and other local volunteers. Participants are asked to see if they can spot special guest Katherine Gaulke, a Town of Delavan Supervisor.
At the end of the Haunted Trail guests will receive a Brightonwood Orchard apple while supplies last.
Admission is a non-perishable food item and/or a $5 donation with all proceeds and donated food items going to the Harold Johnson Delavan Food Pantry.
“I wanted to give the community an opportunity to have some fun and connect with my daughter over an activity she loves while supporting a great cause,” Sonja Berg, owner Peach Tree Organic Gardens, said.
Peach Tree is asking that all attendees park roadside and enter at the end of the drive. Haunted Trail tours will be in groups of four or five people and move one-way through the farm. The entire trail is a little less than a 1/2-mile. Walking will be necessary so please wear appropriate footwear. For those seeking a smaller scare, halfway through the trail there is an exit.
Event sponsors include: Larducci Pizza, Janzen Painting, Brightonwood Orchards, Delavan Piggly Wiggly, Pearces Farm, TNT Ace Hardware and Lakeland Church.
