Limited visibility

A structure fire at Strategic Materials at 1849 Hobbs Dr. in Delavan Nov. 7, involved a piece of equipment inside the warehouse, according to Delavan Fire Chief Tim O’Neill. Above; the ladder truck is set up for point vantage of the equipment that was on fire. Also, O’Neill noted, the Town of Delavan air boat was used for ventilation because of it being such a large building. Providing auto mutual aid were the Town of Delavan and Darien fire departments, both of whom the chief thanked for their assistance. No injuries were reported and damage was limited to the piece of equipment. (Submitted photo)
