Child development screenings will take place at Wileman Elementary School for infants through 4-year-olds from 9 to 11 a.m. Jan. 18 and May 17.
Free, walk-in screenings are available to all Delavan-Darien School District parents who would like to learn more about the physical, pre-academic, communication, social and emotional development of their 0- to 4-year-old children.
Parents can learn about services available to them and their children if their children have special education needs. The screenings are done in a safe, fun and playful setting to help children and parents prepare for the transition to school. Parents will get insight about their children’s speech and language skills, motor skills and social skills.
