A 48-year-old Milton woman died Sunday night in a single-vehicle crash in the Town of Darien.
According to the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department, Lisa K. Martin died after the Chevy Blazer she was driving on Highway M near Townline Road crossed the centerline, left the highway and struck a tree about 8 p.m.
Flight for Life medical helicopter was called to the scene, but Martin was pronounced deceased by the Walworth County coroner before she was transported.
An autopsy has been scheduled for this week in an attempt to determine the cause of the crash.
