Delavan American Legion Post 95 will host its 53rd annual Christmas Day dinner, with dine-in and carryout options.
Deliveries will only be to the immediate Delavan area. If you live outside the Delavan area, plan on stopping at the legion to pick up a meal. Carryout will be available starting at around 11:30 a.m.
As in the past, all calls for deliveries or for pickup must be made between 9 a.m. and noon on Christmas Day to 262-728-8948. No one will be at the legion to take a call or information before that time, or after. Deliveries will go out between 11 a.m. and noon. Doors for the meal open at 10 a.m.
The legion provides this meal as a free-will offering. However, anyone who wants to contribute can do so. Anyone interested in volunteering – whether it be to help serving, deliver food, set up or clean up – can come to the legion Christmas Day. Help may or may not be needed.
