The Walworth County University of Wisconsin-Extension will hold three “Introduction to Pressure Canning” classes in Room 220 of the Walworth County Government Center, 100 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn:
• 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23
• 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 22
• 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, Dec. 9
The classes provide hands-on instructions in pressure canning, and participants get to take home at least one jar of meat and/or vegetables.
