Patricia Chapman of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, was gathered into God’s arms on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the age of 72. Patricia loving wife, mother and friend lost her battle with cancer after showing determination to live her life to the fullest.
She was a loving wife to John, nurturing mother of Mark Chapman (Dan), Julie Doughty (Douglas), John Chapman (Debbie), Jim Chapman (Lisa), Mike Chapman(Andrea), and proud grandmother of Kali and Alexis Chapman, Ryan and Megan Doughty and Kate and Jake Chapman. She is further survived by brother Bill Pryor (Ann) of North Carolina, and sister Toni (Bob) of Colorado.
Patricia was born to Clarence and Ethel Pryor on the family farm in Illinois. She attended Nursing School in Illinois and was employed as a dedicated registered nurse for many years at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Pat and John were married for over fifty years and resided in Waukesha while raising their family of 5 children. Pat enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, camping, reading and traveling. She had many close friends in Elkhorn, including card club and bible study groups. Pat loved the sun and spent recent winters in Mexico and South Padre Islands where she made many new friends.
Memorial Visitation from 11:30 a.m. until12:45 p.m.on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave, Waukesha, WI. followed by a Memorial Mass at 1 PM. Burial is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated in Patricia’s name to her favorite charities.
