The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has announced a public information meeting to discuss improvements to the County NN interchange from just east of I-43 to approximately 0.25 miles east of Bray Road.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Walworth County Public Works Department Training Room, W4097 County Road NN, Elkhorn.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information on improvements being proposed as part of the project, including reconstruction of approximately 0.75 miles of County NN, construction of new County NN bridges over US 12, County NN interchange ramp reconstruction, and the addition of on and off road bicycle and pedestrian accommodations along the project. Construction at the interchange is currently slated to occur in 2015.
The meeting will be conducted in an informal, open house format. No formal presentations will be given. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting and provide input that will assist the department in further developing and refining the proposed improvements. Maps illustrating the proposed improvements will be on display for review and representatives from the project team will be available to answer questions and discuss the project on an individual basis.
