An informational meeting on the new Affordable Health Care Act will be held on Monday, September 16,at 6:30 p.m., at Matheson Memorial Library, 101 N. Wisconsin St.
The meeting will focus on what changes will be taking place Oct. 1 under federal regulations on health care, and what the changes will mean for individuals and families. Included in the town hall-style meeting will be information on the health insurance/marketplace, how to apply for insurance, and changes to Badgercare beginning Jan. 1, 2014.
This event is not a debate on health care, but residents who live or work in Walworth County, are uninsured, underinsured or concerned about the affordability of personal insurance are encouraged to attend the informational session.
