Board supervisors will get their first peek at Walworth County Administrator Dave Bretl’s 2014 budget when he presents a first draft at a committee of the whole workshop at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5.
The Public Works Committee will hear capital improvement project appeals to the budget at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, the Human Resources Committee will hear personnel appeals at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, and the Finance Committee will hear all budget appeals at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19.
A public hearing on the budget proposal is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Final budget adoption is planned for the county board meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12.
