There will be another con-tempt of court hearing against Geneva Hospitality, the former management of the Cove Hotel.

Chandra Webster, one of the two co-owners of Geneva Hospitality was held in contempt of court Jan. 18, pending she produce the Cove’s financial records over the last few years.

According to an inventory assembled by Sean Skellie of In Development Management, the new management company, Geneva Hospitality delivered some of the records that were requested Feb. 28. The accounting, however, details a number of documents that were expected, but were not included.

Missing were the loan repayment records that precipitated the entire court case. Cove condo owners and attorneys throughout this case have alleged that significant portions of loan repayments were made against the loan that was originally taken out in 2006.

Geneva Hospitality, via their attorney David Williams of Lake Geneva, responded stating that the records had already been delivered or had been left at the hotel. During the hearing on the Feb. 18, statements were made by two different witnesses that no records were left at the hotel.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars that were allegedly earned by Geneva Hospitality from August to November of 2012 were not returned to Condominium Association and the new management company.

The contempt hearing will be held at the Walworth County Courthouse March 6. It is expected that PNC Bank, the loan lender, and the Condominium Association will pursue the missing information or will push to have both Webster and Sal Sardina, the other co-owner, held in contempt of court.
