Robert J. “Bob” Brown, 91, of Delavan, died March 15, 2014. Bob was born in Elkhorn to Clarence and Martha (Pelkey) Brown.
He graduated from Delavan High School in 1940. He attended Michigan State University and graduated in 1945 with a degree in mechanical engineering.
His was first employed with Harnischfegar Corp. in West Allis until 1945 when he was drafted into the Army Signal Corps. He was stationed at Fort Monmonth, N.J., for one year. He then returned to Harnischfegar until early 1960.
He returned to Delavan and was employed at Amphenol-Borg in Janesville and retired in 1973.
He is survived by many cousins.
He was an avid NFL fan and a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.
A funeral took place March 19 at St. Andrews Church with the Rev. James Scheurman officiating. Internment was at St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
