Floyd R. Frodl, 70, of Delavan, died Feb. 2, 2014, at his home with his family by his side in Delavan. He was born Sep. 11, 1943, in Edgerton, the son of Rudolph and Pauline (Kelly) Frodl.
Floyd was united in marriage to Charlotte Ahlhorn on May 1, 1970, in Whitewater. He was employed at Borg Industries for many years as a tool and die maker, then later in sales for the insurance industry. Floyd loved spending time with his grandchildren and being in the outdoors. He was a United States veteran serving for the U.S. Army.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte, of Delavan; one daughter, Nicole (Roger) Floberg, of Clinton; one son, Joshua (Inga) Frodl, of Sharon; seven grandchildren, Cole, Hannah, Mason, Emma, Natalie, Jacob and Samantha; three sisters, Marie (Howard) Glass, Bernice (Ernie) Klatt, and Margaret Frodl; two brothers, Eugene (Donna) Frodl and Kenneth (Joan) Frodl; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his parents and one brother, Stanley.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 6, 2014, at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan with the Rev. Steve Hollenbeck officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow funeral services at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan is assisting the family.
