Dorothy Josephine McLernon, 95, longtime Delavan Inlet Oak resident, died at Vintage on the Ponds on Dec. 31, 2013.
She was born March 18, 1918, in Delavan, to Edward Klewin and Carrie Goodrich. She married Everette McLernon in 1936 in Walworth. He preceded her in death in 1977. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Salem, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Pat (Harlan ) Stone of Ocala, Fla.; one son, John Edward McLernon, of Panama, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Diane McLernon, of Elkhorn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, four brothers and one son, Dan.
Funeral services were Jan. 3, at the Betzer Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery.
