Doris Mae Redenius, 92, of Delavan, died July 27, 2013, at Vintage on the Ponds, Sugar Creek. She was born Nov. 8, 1920, to the late William Wolske and Gertrude Quass.
She married Alfred “Fuzz” Redenius in Delavan. He preceded her in death in 2002.
She worked for many years at Tom’s Family Shoes in downtown Delavan, and then was a cook with the Delavan-Darien School District. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was also an excellent gardener.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Dawn, Sharon; granddaughter, Brook (Zeek), Delavan; and great-grandson, Ryder Redenius-Matzke.
She was further preceded in death by son, Bruce.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W. Geneva St. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery.
