Peter Bloch Jr., 82, of Darien, died July 8, 2013, at Willowfield Nursing Home, Delavan. He was born Feb. 21, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Peter Sr. and Stella (Sandecki) Bloch.
He married Shirley Rockwell in 1961 in Allen’s Grove.
He was an installer for AT&T for 31 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Delavan. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved watching NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, Darien; daughter, Stella (Gilbert) Perez, Elkhorn; son, Walter (Collen Buckley), Greendale; grandchildren, Jeannette, Peter (Brittaney), and Andrew Gonzalez; their father, Jesus “Eddy” Gonzalez; sister, Marlyn (David) Cain; and many nieces and nephews.
He was further preceded in death by his sister, Terese.
Funeral services were July 12 at St. Andrew Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim Schuerman officiating. Visitation was at Monroe Funeral Home, Delavan. Burial will be at Mt. Philip Cemetery in Allen’s Grove.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society are suggested.
