The Kiwanis Organization is an international service organization whose focus is on fulfilling the unmet needs of children around the world.
Locally the Kiwanis Club has built the East Troy Manor in the 1970’s, The Heritage Senior Living Facility and supported many other local programs such as the ET Food Pantry, East Troy Family and Community Resource Center, Holiday Help Program, Open Arms Free Clinic, The Treehouse and Operation Click to name just a few.
Kiwanis is also home to the largest youth service programs in the world. We are proud to sponsor three clubs in our small community: The East Troy Middle School Builders Club, St. Peter’s Builders Club and East Troy High School Key Club.
“Our youth programs empower elementary school students, tweens and teens to make an impact through service and leadership,” representatives said.
The Kiwanis Club has been proud to collaborate with local schools for over 20 years to acknowledge outstanding student achievement educationally, civically and athletically. Students nominated between September and December are honored at a ceremony in January.
“We also invite our community members to help us celebrate our students by viewing a virtual recognition available on the East Troy Community School District homepage,” district officials said.
The district website is easttroy.k12.wi.us.
