Elizabeth “Betty” Lou Dornfeld, 82, of East Troy passed away April 9, 2023, at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc. She was born in Milwaukee, on April 26, 1940, to the late Walter and Lillian (nee Prosser) Eddy.
Betty spent her early life in Mukwonago and the Eagle area. She graduated from Mukwonago High School.
On June 7, 1960, Betty was united in marriage to Robert Dornfeld. Following their marriage, they resided in Waukesha. In 1966 Robert and Betty moved to East Troy. Robert preceded Betty in death on June 4, 2016.
Betty was a machinist at Waukesha Cutting and Tool, she enjoyed playing cards and cross stitching. Betty enjoyed spending time outside in the sun. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandkids.
Betty is survived by her son; Todd (Paula), son-in-law Charles Heyer; grand-children; Jessica (Jacob) Bolton, Jennifer (D.J) Heyer, warrant officer in USMC, Charles Heyer, Erika (Clinton) Shell, Allison (Patrick) Fladten, Kaitlyn; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Brielle, Bailey, Rogue, Rhett, Renley, Ryder, Henry; sisters-in-law, Jane and Donna; along with many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was further preceded by her daughter, Theresa.
In lieu of flowers memorials in her name may be given to the charity of your choice.
The family extends a special thank you to Dawn, Tom and the kids for their love and support.
Per Betty’s wishes no services will take place.
