John R. Bromfield, 85, of Delavan passed away on Oct. 6, 2022, at home.
He was born in Michigan on Dec. 14, 1936, to Richard and Linda Bromfield. John was united in marriage to the love of his life, Mary Beth Mohan in Crystal Lake, Illinois, in November 1983. He loved to play Santa Clause, bet on the horses, golf and collect valuables. He was an adoring grandfather. John had a zest for life and friendship.
John is survived by his wife, Mary Beth; children, Betsy (Craig) Koss, John (Diana) Bromfield, John Yundt (Ellen LeGrand), Debbie (Doug Reuter); grandchildren, Madeline Yundt, Ryan Yundt, Amanda Reuter, Spencer Reuter, Nicolette Bromfield, Johnny Bromfield, Samantha (Andy) Borowiak, Cameron (Isabel) Koss, Zach Stark; great grandchildren, Blake, Caleb and Oliver.
A celebration of John’s life will be held from 3 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 at The Abbey Yacht Club, South Shore Dr., Fontana. Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan is assisting the family.
