Thomas J. Peterson, 79, of Elkhorn, passed away on July 19, 2021, at home, surrounded by his family.
He was born December 16, 1941, in West Allis, the son of Francis and Ethel (Rouse) Peterson. Tom was united in marriage to Sandra J. Lisocki on March 3, 1962, in West Allis.
Tom worked at Pabst Brewery until his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed owning, training and driving harness horses. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sandra; six children, Darrell (Pam) Peterson of Elkhorn, Duane (Alice) Peterson of Milwaukee, Donna Hueberger of Lindenhurst, Illinois, Darren (Heather) Peterson of Janesville, Deann Peterson of Elkhorn and Debra Greeley of Lake Geneva; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and his five sisters, Rita Ligocki, Carole Dehli, Joanne Kane, Janet Kurth and Patricia Kiefert.
Tom was preceded in death by: his parents; 11 siblings, Carlotta, Ethel, Florence, Carlton, Lois-Jean, Delores, Gloria, Francis Jr., Jack, Gerald and Judy; daughter-in-law, Valerie; and grandson, Jacob.
