The Delavan Lake Improvement Association will host its annual Spring Fling virtually this year on Thursday, June 25 at 6 p.m. with login beginning at 5:30 p.m. that night.
“To make sure we keep everyone safe, this year our event will be virtual. We may not be in the same room, but our event will be just as interesting as the year’s past,” said Mary Pat O’Connor, DLIA board president.
The Spring Fling will feature a panel discussing Delavan Lake Health with guest panelists including Walworth County Supervisor Brian Holt (founder of the Walworth County Soil & Watershed Protection Producer group), Town of Delavan Supervisor Katherine Gaulke (chair of the Lake Committee) and Delavan Lake Sanitary District Commissioner, Kim O’Keefe.
O’Connor will serve as moderator.
“We’ll be asking important questions like: what is the status of the Mound Pond dredging, how is the fish health at Delavan Lake and what is being done to address boat traffic,” she said.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel live during the event, or questions may be submitted to the DLIA in advance.
RSVP for the event, which can be found on the Delavan Lake Improvement Association’s Facebook page and also to receive updates and log-in/call-in details.
The Delavan Lake Improvement Association (DLIA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The DLIA is committed to providing financial support to farm conservation programs in the Delavan Lake watershed to help prevent detrimental nutrient loaded soil sediment from entering into our lake.
