Generous donation

      From the right; Geoff and Jacki Hale (and their son, Chris, not pictured), owners of Home Lumber, which has locations in Delavan and Whitewater, recently made a donation of lumber to Kian Sonn and his dad, Jeff Sonn (president of the Friends of Lakeland School) to construct Aldo Leopold benches and further student woodworking and employment skills. The school was founded in 1950 as the first rural special needs school in America, and is one of only two stand-alone special needs schools in Wisconsin. (Submitted photo)
