The Village of Williams Bay board approved applying for a state grant to construct a bicycle/pedestrian path along Theatre Road on Nov. 18.
The proposed path runs along the border with the Town of Delavan, so it required approval from both municipalities. The Town Board approved a resolution and a willingness to sign an intergovernmental agreement for the path in September.
Trustee Jen McMannamy serves as chair of the Streets and Highways Committee and worked with the town in getting the path approved.
“I am pleased to see that the Town of Delavan and the Village of Williams Bay boards have been collaborating nicely along with the Prairie View Homeowners Association, the school board and staff, and the Williams Bay Police Department on this project,” McMannamy said.
